We are currently seeking a CNC Operator / Edgebander Operator to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to train and learn machine operation and bring a positive attitude to a dedicated, fast-paced team. Responsible for the efficient operation and primary maintenance of the machine in which they are assigned. Machines which require operators include but are not limited to: edgebander, beam saw/horizontal panel saw, CNC router. Machine operators should be meticulous by nature, able to multi-task and have the ability to foresee issues and provide solutions before they happen.

Responsibilities:

• Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated stock, and placing orders.
• Loads table/machine by lifting parts into position.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Onsite Training Program to develop the Skills to Advance your Career.
• Operate, and maintain high tech machinery in a manufacturing setting including CNC’s, routers, wide-belt sanders, and edgebanders.
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area.
• Ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Ensure machine is properly set up and producing the quality of parts expected

• Perform milling, turning, taping and all saw operations
• Report all abnormalities affecting the quality of parts or overall machine operation
