PrideStaff, a recruiting firm for Central Oregon businesses is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a fast growing, locally founded manufacturing company. The role would work a M-F schedule with weekends off!

General Expectations:

• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and functions.

Duties:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of delivered items against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
• Inspect all incoming shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies and promptly report any issues to the appropriate departments.
• Label, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to specifications, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and packaging for compliance with government regulations and contract requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, or other transportation services to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and products to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking information, inventory levels, and any related documentation.
• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels and assist in inventory control activities.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to reconcile any discrepancies or issues with orders, deliveries, or inventory.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve shipping and receiving-related inquiries or concerns.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years working in a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of MRP, Inventory Control and BOM’s

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50lbs occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
