Warehouse Order Picker
Pay Rate : $15 / hr.
Location : Humble, TX 77396
Job Type : Temp-to-Hire
Due to recent growth and expansion, our client is looking for an experienced warehouse person / order picker. The client is a dedicated marine logistics provider and freight forwarder located in the Humble, TX 77396 area.
Warehouse Order Picker Duties :
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and transport materials within the warehouse
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications
Perform order fulfillment tasks, including verifying product quantities and quality control checks
Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
Warehouse Order Picker Requirements :
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center required.
Must have prior work experience with a freight forwarding company
Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and pack orders
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required
