Responsibilities for Staff Accountant:
- Process Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank Reconciliations for multiple entities
- Month end close
- Journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements for month-end close
- Audits
- Financial Reporting
- Responds to accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Requirements for Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, complex formulas)
- 2 Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Preferrably QuickBooks or SAGE
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong ability to coordinate multiple company ledgers
- Deadline oriented
- Problem - solving attitude
- High degree of organization, initiative, and flexibility to accommodate deadlines
- Strong math skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
