Processing Operator - 1st Shift - ASheville - $17.00 / hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for Processing Operator for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Asheville .This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team player!

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Understand and follow company's Quality Policy and Operating Instructions
• Understand and follow safety procedures such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Stretch, cut, and roll honeycomb to required dimensions as noted on MDS
• Use micrometer, calipers, tape measures, and Pi tapeu
• Use chop saws, belt sanders, rollers, hand sanding, and tweezer welders (resistance welding)
• Notify Lead Operator of any potential nonconformances or any other issues / concerns that may arise.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Manufacturing experience is desired
• Basic math skills required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to utilize specialized tools to measure and confirm tolerances is required
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to bend, stoop, and pull. Standing for periods of up to ½ hour at a time

Hours of Work : 1st Shift - M-Th - 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm & F - 6 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $17.00 - $17.00 Per Hour
