We are looking to add a Screw Machine Operator to lock manufacturing company in Bristol, CT ! This is a Direct-Hire role.

Screw Machine Operator Pay : $35 / hr

Screw Machine Operator Hours : 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm Monday to Friday

Screw Machine Operator Summary :

Screw machine operators will produce precision machined components

applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, layouts, control plans and

machining procedures.

Screw Machine Operator Job Functions :

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and optical comparators.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Read screw machine blueprint specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and use all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation of tools to perform the appropriate precision machining operations.

Screw Machine Operator Qualifications :

• Experience working in a machine shop environment
• Set up and operation screw machines
• Experience reading blueprints
• Previous Screw or CAM machining experience
