Job Title: Licensed practical nurse

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Shift: Multiple shifts available (Day shift and Evening Shift)

Duration: 6 Months Contract (with the possibility of extension)

Rate Range: $28 to $35 Per hour

Must have:

Licensed and currently registered as a Practical Nurse in New York State.

BLS - AHA

Duties and Skills

• The duties require the use of tact and judgment in the care and treatment of patients. May assist in the supervision of non-professional subordinates.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge in the treatment of patients requiring nursing care.
• Uses available diagnostic results and other information to make an accurate evaluation.
• Applies knowledge of illnesses, injuries, and diseases and uses available resources in performing the nursing process. Performs timely, comprehensive, and accurate reevaluations and documentation at regular intervals as defined by the department, when a significant change occurs in the resident's condition, and when otherwise warranted.
• Ability to work in surroundings with the degree of dust, noise, etc. without undue discomfort.
• Ability to hear, talk, walk, stand, bend and stretch Ability to read, write and interpret documents.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time at desk to perform job functions.
