Label Operator

Summary
The Label Operator follows written work instructions to provide support for the manufacturing floor through various functions including but not limited to the label printing process.
Duties
- Accurate Data Entry
- Follow all label-related policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure labels are correct before releasing to production floor.
- Operate label-printing machines and escalate repair and maintenance when required.
- Maintain appropriate levels of label stock.
- Contribute to a positive team working environment.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit, and a hands on mentality.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Demonstrated customer support and information gathering skills.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and oral.
- Communicate in person, over the phone, email, and internet or in writing in a positive, professional manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time. Education and / or Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Shift : M-F Day Shift
Pay : Up to $20 / hr for well qualified candidates
