Primex Clinical Laboratories is Hiring a Phlebotomist Near Los Angeles, CA
Looking for a California Licensed Phlebotomist. Preferably 2-5 year phlebotomy experience in the laboratory field. FULL-TIME (8:30AM - 5:00 PM) Phlebotomist position in the Los Angeles Area.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and store blood samples from patients
- Take patient information and co-pays (process payments)
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
- Maintain clean and healthy work environment
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
issued by California Department of Public Health
- Previous experience in phlebotomy - preferably 2-5 years
- Experience working as a phlebotomist in a laboratory is a plus
- Maintains clinical skills specific to the age of the patient
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Strong organizational skills
What's Required:
- Have a strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining safety and accuracy
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
