Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Specimen Acceptability Determination
• Routine and Complex Procedures
• Instrumentation Troubleshooting
• Technical Decision-Making
• Reagent and Control Testing and Evaluation
• Accurate Test Result Reporting
• Preventive Maintenance and Quality Control
• Safe Work Environment Maintenance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
• 0-2 Years Clinical Laboratory Testing Experience
• State Medical Technologist License (Possibly Required)
• ASCP or AMT Certification (Preferred or Required)
• Proficiency with Computers and Laboratory Information Systems
• Strong Attention to Detail, Communication, and Organizational Skills
• Ability to Work Independently and in Teams
• Pass Standardized Color Vision Screen
• Flexibility for Overtime and Shift Work
• Mandatory Flu Vaccination and Medical Screenings (Color Vision, TB)

Schedule Options:

• 3rd Shift 5 x 8 (10 PM to 6:30 AM)
• 3 x 12 (6 PM - 6:30 AM) with Flexibility

Pay Range: $26.75/hr. to $30/hr. (Depends Upon Experience)
