About the Role:

This role will be a part of the Rental Scale-Up, a short-term rental media outlet powered by PriceLabs.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEO Specialist (WordPress). This role involves creating engaging content and optimizing our WordPress website. The ideal candidate is a passionate writer with a deep understanding of SEO and the WordPress platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize engaging, SEO-friendly content that targets relevant keywords and appeals to our target audience.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
• Improve existing WordPress themes to maintain a consistent and appealing brand image.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders. 
• Conduct technical SEO audits, and identify and resolve website issues related to crawlability, indexability, site speed, and mobile responsiveness. 
• Utilize SEO plugins effectively to increase content visibility on search engines.
• Monitor and analyze competitor SEO strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to outrank competitors.
• Manage all aspects of WordPress publishing, including posting content, managing categories, scheduling posts, etc.
• Implement effective interlinking strategies to improve site navigation and SEO.
• Use Elementor proficiently to design visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.

• Passion for writing and the ability to write every day.
• Extensive professional content writing experience.
• A strong understanding of SEO and how to implement SEO strategies in WordPress.
• Advanced user of WordPress with experience in website management and customization.
• Familiarity with the editorial process and the ability to work with editors without taking feedback personally.
• Proficiency in English (Native or bilingual).
• Belief in over-communication rather than under-communication.
• Extensive experience using a variety of WordPress plugins and themes.
• 2-3 years of proven experience working as an SEO Manager or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions and strategies.
• Experience with website analytics tools and a solid understanding of key website metrics.
