Business Analysts apply analytical skills working with business and product owners to develop requirements and user stories stemming from product roadmaps. Analysts add value to the delivery team by working with the business and product owner to create clarity around business objectives through the development of and refinement of user stories. Our Business Analysts solve business problems working with delivery teams using Agile and scrum methodologies.

  • Documenting business data-related requirements so that they are unambiguous, consistent and not in contradiction with each other;
  • Applying analytical skills to determine and document accurate business requirements and present these requirements in a manner that is concise, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs;
  • Understanding the business implications of the application of data to the current business environment and preparing specific requirements from which applications can be developed;
  • Analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties;
  • Building a documentation library that incorporates process knowledge into procedural documentation that is published to internal/external stakeholders;
  • Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and automation to drive data;
  • Promoting and fostering a working environment that enables team members to challenge the status quo;
  • Deploying a performance management programme to train/coach team members to perform to their highest ability, managing performance, providing learning and growth opportunities and deploying measurable succession planning;
  • Partnering with a cross-functional team, executive leadership, and subject matter specialists;
  • Demonstrating proven communication, presentation and documentation skills in order to deliver concise messaging;
  • Building, maintaining and influencing relationships while navigating a matrixed organization;
  • Displaying proactivity and urgency when resolving data or system issues;
  • Learning new concepts and demonstrating logical and lateral problem solving skills;
  • Responding within expected SLAs to change while maintaining structure and quality of delivery;
  • Displaying the ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision;
  • Exhibiting leadership skills;
  • Illustrating an understanding of request fulfillment, incident management and SLA tracking/monitoring;
  • Showcasing an understanding of problem and change management;
  • Demonstrating experience in implementing and running multiple services/applications in a financial services-led organization;
  • Understanding of Data Architecture, data modeling/mapping, Master Data/Reference Data Management;
  • Showcasing experience in Operations Master and/or Reference Data Management or a related discipline;
  • Displaying ability to manage data oriented programs to deliver on-time results and recommendations for action/next steps;
  • Showcasing people management skills and ability to lead and support a diverse team;
  • Displaying a proven track record of working with Senior and C-level executives;
  • Exhibiting experience in using technology platforms and reporting tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS), ServiceNow, Tableau, PowerBI;
  • Managing the Operations Team in day-to-day BAU activities so that leading industry practices are adhered to; and,
  • Executing of daily operations tasks are delivered in a timely fashion and are in accordance with processes and procedures.
