CPA license. International hires are required to hold the equivalent accounting certification in the selected individual's home country. Hires from a PwC affiliate firm must meet the requirements for a PwC US Director in that PwC affiliate firm.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (US GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, emphasizing an overall intimate understanding - for the respective industry - of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

  • Whole Leadership: setting and demonstrating high standards of integrity even in the face of ethical challenges; being inclusive in my actions and making sure others feel considered and respected; and, arranging appropriate assignments and experiences to support others' learning and development;
  • Business Acumen: seeking different ways to use current and relevant technological advances; analyzing marketplace trends - economical, social, cultural, & technological - to identify opportunities and create value propositions; and, focusing on profitability and long term sustainable growth for firm and clients;
  • Technical Capabilities: setting the tone in promoting risk management and compliance procedures; contributing technical specialization in my area of specialism; and, deploying methods to keep up with, and stay ahead of, new developments and ideas;
  • Global Acumen: continuously applying my learnings about other parts of the Network to my business and clients; offering a global perspective in client and Network discussions and when shaping solutions/recommendations for clients; and, discussing the impact of key global and societal trends with clients; and,
  • Relationships: translating complex messages to facilitate others' understanding; anticipating client needs and delivering high quality, value-added services, which elevate the profile of the firm in the eyes of the client; and, proactively managing stakeholders to create positive outcomes for all parties.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in driving, and thought leadership in areas involving, automation & digitization in a professional services environment, including the following areas: innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; working with large, complex data sets to build models and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to clients; and, transforming the business by creating capacity and delivering an enhanced employee and client experience.
