Description

Presently, we are in search of a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our Quality Department in Casa Grande, AZ.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and administer ISO 9001-based Quality System.
• Direct day to day QA activities.
• Prepare monthly Quality reports and presentations inclusive of in-depth analysis and action recommendations to management, manufacturing, sales, and engineering.
• Work with Production Control and Scheduling using In-Time techniques
• Respond to all customer inquiries for quality issues regarding all Price product and occassional travel to customer sites.
• Manage documented Positive Action Request & Resolution customer response program in accordance with established guidelines.
• Interact and communicate with Customer Service and Account Managers

EDUCATION:

• A college degree is required although applicable experience will apply with a minimum 3 years experience.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Familiarity with and experience with ISO certification would be a plus. Likewise experience with QS9001.
• Extensive experience with, and exposure to, discrete manufacturing processes; in particular he/she should have a depth of knowledge in sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Proven record of developing Best-in-Industry quality systems and practices.
• Ability to champion Quality throughout the entire organization with care, deliberation, and enthusiasm.
• Facilitate using office software products for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
• Excellent training and presentation skills including the ability to impart technical concepts to audiences of varying sizes, technical competence (including the novice or layman), experience and even interest.
• Ability to develop highly capable Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: thorough, succinct, and focused.
• Willingness to contribute to building a consensus and supporting a team decision.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have a superior knowledge base of leading edge quality systems and processes. Familiarity with and experience ISO certification would be a plus. Likewise experience with QS9000.
