Priano, a leading design center with a state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot showroom in Tampa Bay, is seeking a Flooring Installation Scheduler to join our team. We are looking for an experienced professional who is fluent in both English and Spanish, with a proven track record of scheduling flooring installations using subcontractors across various trades (e.g., tile, carpet, hardwood, etc.). The ideal candidate must be proficient in Office and G-suite, while Netsuite experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and Coordination:
• Manage and maintain the installation and maintenance schedule for projects.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, warehouse, purchasing, and installers to ensure seamless coordination.
• Installation Oversight:
• Direct and monitor the activities of installers, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and minimize delays during the installation process.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Liaise with Sales and Purchasing teams to coordinate additional materials and costs for ongoing projects.
• Ensure accurate invoicing from subcontractors for timely payments.
• Keep Owners, Builders, and Sales Representatives informed of project progress through regular updates.
• Data Management and Documentation:
• Update and maintain systems to ensure all team members are well-informed of job progress and to document project details.
• Handle warranty and service requests efficiently.
• Demand Forecasting and Quality Assurance:
• Forecast demand from builders, salespersons, and others to facilitate smooth operations.
• Communicate with subcontractors to discuss quality improvements and strive for high installation standards.
• Installers Management:
• Monitor and assess new installers for compliance, quality, and performance.
• Assist in the recruitment process for new installers.
• Work Order Management:
• Review work orders to ensure all necessary information for successful completion is included.
• Review work orders turned in by installers for accuracy.
• Field Supervision and Support:
• Provide superior knowledge of the industry and support Field Supervisors with route planning and daily updates on active jobs.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Answer phones and emails to address inquiries promptly.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for installation projects.
• Input customer data into company systems accurately.
• Manage department schedules through calendars, databases, and scheduling tools.
• Financial Oversight:
• Handle backcharging of installers when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Previous experience in the flooring industry and scheduling of flooring installations is a must.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with efficient work habits.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Office, and G-suite.
• Experience with scheduling tools, Netsuite experience is a plus.
