Responsibilities:

• Provide in-school nursing care and monitoring to a 7th-grade student.
• Administer medications as per school policy.
• Manage first aid and provide specialized medical treatments.
• Travel with the student on transportation as needed.
• Maintain supplies and collaborate with staff and families.
• Monitor the student's daily schedule and health needs.
• Participate in professional development and meetings.
• Document activities and report health and safety issues.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in preparedness.
• Accompany student on activities and field trips as needed.
• Document care for insurance and government reimbursement.
• Offer instructional support under direction as needed.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license from the current MA Board of Registration.
• BSN degree.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
• Experience with complex pediatric needs is preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and judgment skills.
• Understanding of children's health needs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and reach.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
