POSITION SUMMARY:

The Asset Control Supervisor directly oversees the Asset Control Team at Freedom Forever. The primary mission of the Asset Control team is to protect Freedom Forever’s interest in post-installation work. This team, amongst other duties, executes System Performance Claims Reviews (SPCR), facilitates Removal and Reinstallation processes (R&R), manages non-warranty system damage repairs, and above all is the driving force behind progressing aging projects through to completion. The Asset Control Supervisor has a strong understanding of customer relationship management, project workflows, pipeline management processes, techniques to make quick critical decisions, and the ability to recognize underlying issues to assist in developing solutions to mitigate delays in reaching project completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Independently drive and monitor all Asset Control functions by developing and leading a success-driven, cross-functional team• Develop and maintain deep understanding of Freedom Forever products across all markets• Have detailed knowledge of Freedom Forever Installation and Supply Agreements• Lead support response both with the customer and internally to key stakeholders and senior leadership• Advise senior leadership and key stakeholders of any process developments and action plans, along with providing recommendations for improving customer experience and decreasing timelines• Analyze project delay trends and identify opportunities to develop new or improved strategies• Review and refine Asset Control processes, protocols, reporting tools, and workspaces• Manage the overall performance of the Asset Control department and create/maintain positive, reportable goals• Observe individual performance and hold regular meetings to develop specialized skills and training opportunities• Search out and create opportunities for departmental improvements and implement strategic plans to increase performance• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Certifications:

• High School Graduate or GED; Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant certifications, or focused trainings desired

Experience:• 3 years of customer-facing Solar experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop teams• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally and in writing with both customers and internally at Freedom Forever• Strong financial and business sense, critical thinking, decision-making abilities• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, high-volume environment• Ability to have difficult conversations with multiple levels within the organization• Ability to collaborate with peers and work cross-functionally as needed• Weekend and after hours work as the business requires• Strong spelling, grammar, formatting, and writing skills• Ability to understand, review, revise, and/or create various documentation types such as Standard Operating Procedures, templates, waivers, agreements, etc.• Proficient with regular creation and maintenance of reports and spreadsheets• Elevated levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation; ability to take initiative to investigate source issues independently with minimal direction, utilize resources, and navigate complex situations• Innovative and forward-thinking mindset; always analyzing systems and processes that can be improved

Special Skills & Training:

• Strong proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of project management software, CRMs, ERPS, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES

• Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers• Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly• Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering financial information into a computer• Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects• Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away• Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand• Regularly understand the speech of another person• Frequently work on projects that require deadlines• Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) 

If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
