Prevention First Primary Care is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Union, NJ

Prevention First Primary Care is seeking an enthusiastic and self-sufficient Medical Assistant/Receptionist for our busy practice. This is a permanent position. Candidate must posses clear and concise verbal and written/typing skills. A team player that works well with others and does not get easily frazzled. Has the ability to multi-task, punctual and polite.

Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients
  • Obtain accurate demographic information, co-payments and balance payments
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of waiting area
  • Make appointment reminder calls for all scheduled patients
  • Answer incoming calls and direct patients
  • Schedule appointments via telephone and in person
  • Obtain eligibility information
  • Accept and post patient co pay’s and insurance information
  • Scanning and faxing of documents
  • Knowledge of EMR systems a plus!!

Office hours will be as follows:

Monday 10A.M. -5P.M.

Tues 10 A.M. - 2 P.M.

Weds 10 A.M. - 5 P.M.

Thursday 10 A.M. - 5 P.M.

Fri 10 A.M. - 2 P.M.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 22 per week
