Description

Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to be a Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) IV Team Lead for Commander Naval Surface Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet (CNSL) Engineering Readiness Assist Team (ERAT) / Combat Systems Readiness Assist Team (CSRAT). The contractor shall have engineering centric background and experience of a U.S. Navy CHENG and/or a Top Snipe on a Diesel / Steam (LSD/LHD/LPD/LCS), and Gas Turbine (CG/DDG/LCS) propulsion systems to include demonstrated relevant shipboard experience within the past 5 years.

Requirements

• 20 years of U.S. Navy experience as a CHENG, MPA and/or Top Snipe
• Minimum of three (3) at sea tours as a Main Propulsion Assistant or other Principal Assistant

Strongly Desired:

• Experience as a squadron of Strike Group N4
• A CHENG may be a graduate of the Surface Warfare Officer School Prospective Engineering Officer (PEO) and Advanced Engineering courses and a minimum of three (3) at sea tours
• A former Top Snipe shall have completed the NEC bearing course, been designated by a Commanding Officer, graduate of appropriate A and C schools, and have served in various capacities within a ship’s engineering department, and completed a minimum of three tours

High School Graduate or equivalent

Clearance:

Must possess or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance
