Westgate Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in beautiful Havertown, PA is hiring an experienced Director of Nursing to organize and oversee all nursing operations of the facility. You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Nursing will direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (Unit Managers, RN, LPN, CNA etc.)
• The DON will guide staffing procedures
• The Director of Nursing will set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• The DON will organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
• The Director of Nursing will develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
• The DON will control budgets and monitor expenditures
• The DON will resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
• The DON will collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations

Skills

• Proven experience as Director of Nursing
• Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in a skilled nursing facility.
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
• Great communication and people skills
• Registered Nurse License and CPR certification
