Prestige Stamping is Hiring a Furnace Operator Near Warren, MI
- Maintain furnace control to meet specified requirements of process
- Run, operate, and monitor the heat treat furnace through all stages of the process
- Inspect material to determine quantity and note any damaged, defective or suspect material
- Safely operate hi-lo
- Follow specific work instructions to complete daily work assignments in a timely manner
- Support all process, policy, and procedure up to customer requirements and federal/state/local regulations and expectations
- Completes all necessary paperwork to document the furnace process and any exceptions
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Perform duties in a safe and productive manner
- Assist in heat treat shop activities and perform other duties as assigned
Day Shift: 7am - 3pm
- Must have Hi-Lo Experience
- Previous experience with Heat Treat a plus
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to understand basic math & possess basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate well with other employees
