Prestige Stamping is Hiring a Die Repair Trainee- Entry Level Near Warren, MI
Prestige Stamping LLC is a high volume manufacturer of tight-tolerance washers and small metal stampings. We provide stampings to the automotive, construction, agriculture and heavy truck industries. We have been in business since 1967 and we are looking to add to our team.
Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Die Repair Trainee- Entry Level
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for learning the aspects of die repair and die maintenance.
- Learn to use Micrometers, Calipers and Measuring Gages.
- Learn to use all Tool Room machinery: Surface Grinders, Lathes and Drill Presses.
- Learn how to repair high speed blanking dies, compound dies and progressive dies.
- Maintain full safety and quality during completion of repairs.
- Candidate must have strong mechanical ability and desire to learn.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must have good communication skills, attendance and be a team player
- Must be able to pass a physical, lift 50 lbs.
Shift Hours: (Training to take place on Days, with a transfer to an off shift once training has been completed)
