Primary Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for helping with landscape construction services and some landscape maintenance services

• Communicate and take direction from the project manager/foremen.
• Work along with your foreman and other crew members to perform various tasks including demo of existing landscapes, pruning, site preparation and grading, drainage installation, irrigation installation, natural stone and concrete paver hardscapes (such as paths, walls, patios), water features, plantings, lighting, and other elements per the landscape plan.

Qualifications of Crew Member:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
• Able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
• Ability to follow directions from direct supervisor
• Reliable transportation to/from work (REQUIRED)
• Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Details:

• Jobsites are usually in and around Portland Metro and the surrounding areas
• Projects can last 1 day to several weeks or months

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
