Our medical facility is in need of a Medical Assistant to perform general administrative tasks and assist with patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for passing out patient paperwork, assisting with health education, and scheduling appointments. Our medical practice is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual that is a good listener and takes direction well to join our team immediately.

  • Responsibilities
  • Triage patients and document their medical history
  • Organize and schedule appointments as requested
  • Arrange for laboratory services and other tests as requested
  • Assist during medical examinations and procedures
  • Read all correspondence emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Restock supplies as needed and order supplies as requested
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments after each patient
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Administration of Injections

Skills * Proven working experience as a medical assistant

  • Knowledge of Athena EMR System preferred
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
  • Excellent writing, typing, grammatical, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization with attention to detail
  • Works with Integrity at all times
  • Medical Assistant Certificate Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
