Job Summary : The Master Certified Service Technician at Prestige Ford in Mt.

Dora, Florida is a skilled and experienced individual responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

This position works independently as an individual contributor and is a vital part of our team, delivering impeccable service to our customers.

Responsibilities :

• Perform diagnostic tests and vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
• Recommend and perform necessary repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing any concerns they may have
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and complete required training and certifications to maintain Master Certification status

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Master Certified Technician status from ASE and / or manufacturer certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Master Certified Technician in a dealership setting
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and customer service skills
