Job Summary:
Prestige Ford, located in Mt.Dora, Florida, is seeking a highly skilled and Ford Certified Service Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. As a Ford Certified Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Ford vehicles to ensure they are operating at their peak performance. This role requires a thorough understanding of Ford vehicles and the ability to efficiently and accurately diagnose and resolve any issues. Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Ford vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards
- Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide efficient and effective solutions
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs
- Execute service orders within specified time frames and provide timely updates on progress
- Keep up to date on the latest Ford technologies and attend training workshops as required
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Ensure work area and customer vehicles are kept clean and tidy
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain good working relationships with team members
Requirements:
- Ford Certified with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Ford vehicles and their components
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computer systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
