This Regional Support Nurse will oversee 4 skilled nursing centers in Oregon and/or WA State

Ideal candidate will live in OR, WA State, ID, CA, NV or is willing to relocate to OR or WA State

What does the RegionalSupport Nurse do?

The RegionalSupport Nurse provides support to skilled nursing facilities as necessary toensure the safety and well-being of residents and to achieve compliance withcompany policies and procedures, State and Federal regulations and clinicalstandards of practice. In this job, everyday you will:

  • Provides orientation andtraining to facility management including Administrators, Directors of Nursing,and Resident Care Manager on company skilled nursing policies and procedures,State and Federal regulations.
  • Assists with thedevelopment and revision of clinical policies and procedures to ensurecompliance with State/ Federal regulations and current standards of practice.
  • Assesses facilitycompliance with company policies/procedures and State/ Federal regulations.Provides education, system implementation and monitoring, and development ofperformance improvement plans in conjunction with Administrators and Directorsof Nursing to promote positive resident outcomes.
  • Assists with traininglicensed nurses and nursing assistants as requested by the facility on companyskilled nursing policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations.
  • Provides support as neededthrough the survey process including assistance with preparation for survey,writing the plan of correction, developing an action plan, and monitoring forcompliance.
  • Works with the CentralSupport staff developing and implementing action plans to assist facilitydepartments achieve compliance as needed.
  • Perform other relatedduties as assigned.

Education & Experienceyou need to qualify:

  • Current registered nursinglicense in states in which PCI operates or the ability to obtain license uponhire.
  • A minimum of five years’experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Have a current driver’slicense and access to a personal car.
  • Working knowledge of Stateand Federal regulations and the survey process.
  • Working knowledge of theMinimum Data Set (MDS) and Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
  • Ability to work with ateam, be self-directed, organized and flexible.
  • Ability to presenttraining to small and large groups. Computer skills include at least a workingknowledge of Microsoft Office including e-mail, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to accuratelyassess, trouble-shoot, and problem-solve to meet the needs of the skillednursing facility, residents, and clinical staff.
  • Ability to develop plansfor improving clinical systems that can be implemented with others. Ableevaluate results of the plan and modify it as needed.
  • Able to communicate effectively, in English, with personnel at alllevels of the organization, with residents, their friends and family, and withmembers of the community.

PTO:
SNF/AL/PCI Salary: Accrue PTO at rate of 0.0615/hour during their first year/16 days.
SNF/PCI Hourly: Full-time and Part-Time team members (over20 hours/week) accrue PTO at rate of 0.0423/hour during their first year.
