REQUIREMENTS:
3 years nursing home experience is a must
Strong assessment and organizational skills
Ability to Multi-task and work under time constraints
Demonstrate proactive approach to intake management
Proficient in Microsoft office
Compensation depending on experience $26-$30 hourly
DUTIES:
Coordinates and facilitates the admissions process and marketing of the home.
Collaborate with facility administrators and nursing directors to support admission needs
Establish and maintain professional relationships with community members, hospital leadership, discharge coordinator and all other admission sources to generate consistent admission and referral sources.
Guide the department to ensure strong customer, referrer, and payer satisfactions, while maintaining appropriate market penetration, positive public image and average daily census goals.
Understand the admissions process including policy, procedures, assessments & paperwork requirements
Maintain knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes
