Prestige Care - Float Pool is Hiring a Staffing Coordinator - Internal Traveling Pool Near Vancouver, WA

Position Details

  • Salary: 25.00 - 28.00 Hourly

This position is for on call hours. 

This is an on-call remote position that will cover limited on call hours on evenings and weekends

Applicant needs to live in Washington or Oregon and be available to train at our corporate office in Vancouver, WA

Wage Range: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE

In this fast-paced, dynamic role, you would be assistingour care centers with staffing contingent staff, and helping to coordinate day-to-daystaffing department operations to ensure proper staffing levels for residentcare.

In this job, everyday you will…

1. Build positive relationships with staffingcontacts at buildings and external agencies to effectively partner to filltemporary per diem and contract positions.

2. Manage open shift requests utilizing ascheduling system and coordinate filling requests with pool and agencyemployees.

3. Provide on call support after hours and onweekends by answering the staffing line and responding to immediate staffingneeds.

4. Schedule hotel and travel arrangement for pooland agency employees. Process pool employee mileage reimbursements.

5. Manage daily employee and agency timekeeping.Review time clock entries for accuracy, collect timecard edits and enter editsinto system. Audit timecards with schedule to ensure data matches.

6. Maintain pool employees’ personnel files andtrack and maintain pool and agency credentialing requirements to ensurecompliance.

7. Assist in recruiting, hiring and onboarding poolemployees

8. Assist Staffing Manager in the day to daymanagement of pool employees including scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, andproblem solving concerns. Escalate concerns to Staffing Manager as necessary.

9. Participate in planning pool employee events andimplement employee recognition and engagement programs for pool employees.

Education & Experienceyou need to qualify:

  • General office and staffing experience highlypreferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication andmotivational skills are essential.
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve schedulingand employee situations.
  • Individual must be a team player, wellorganized, and flexible.
  • Able to cover on call staffing after hours andon weekends.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, includingOutlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with staff development, training andscheduling preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-termcare or medical setting preferred.
