Prestige Care Center of Morrison is immediately hiring Transportation Aide/Central Supply for our 180 bed skilled nursing facility. We are under new ownership and management and we are committed to providing quality care and the best experience for our patients. Prestige Care Center of Morrison is nestled in the foothills near Red Rocks. With beautiful scenery, wildlife, and mountain views, you are sure to find our location a great place to work. We are located off multiple interstates and highways, which makes getting to the facility an easier task.

Transportation Aide Required Qualifications

  • Chauffeur's Permit (Required) (Per state law)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Day Shift with early mornings and late evenings
  • CPR Certification (Required)
  • CNA (Preferred)

Transportation Aide Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule resident medical appointments, communicate with residents, POA’s and nurses.
  • Take residents to appointments as needed.
  • Review daily rehabilitation schedule and be available, as indicated.
  • Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs.
  • Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicle.
  • Transport residents to and from rehabilitation area for scheduled appointments.
  • Operate elevators, as needed. Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents/problems.
  • Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.
  • The Transportation Aide provides resident’s transportation to and from appointments and/or activities in a safe and courteous manner at all times.
  • The Transportation Aide must comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize during transport.
  • Assist residents in wheelchairs. Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
  • Time management, creating routes that will accommodate appointments and activities.
  • Communicate with Administrator and Nursing Department upon disruption of service.
  • Report all vehicle repairs and any unsafe or hazardous concerns immediately to the Administrator.
  • Per Administrator, assisting with CNA or Central Supply duties is expected between appointments/activities.
  • Be flexible and available for special occasions, holidays and weekends.
  • Must be ‘on-call’ during scheduled days, if unable to be on-call, a replacement is required.
  • CPR licensed and trained in first aide
