Key Areas of Responsibilities

o Drive company sales growth and profitability through customer centric selling, teamwork, superior product knowledge, and impeccable customer experience.

o Lead the selling process to ensure goals are met during shifts for all employees.

o Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture. Models the service & sales experience.

o Effectively manage all controllable, including recruitment, onboard & training, labor, inventory, and cost controls.

o Provide constant feedback to the team; elevating performance and managing expectations.

o Coach and elevate team performance at the moment to maximize team selling potential. Set clear goals and expectations with all associates on every shift.

o Be a brand ambassador; lead community engagement, and local store marketing partnerships to increase brand visibility.

o Effective management of third party vendors.

o Ensure team is enrolling all customers in our Membership Program.

o Active & engaged product sampling throughout all day parts.

o Cascades critical information to the team and direct supervisor in a proactive manner.

o Continuously coach the team and provide constant and useful feedback.

o Take ownership of your location – including store cleanliness, operational excellence, food handling, and customer experience standards are best in class.

o Leads by example – models the selling process, reinforce company policies, and ensures a safe & respectful work environment for all members.

o Fosters a customer-focused environment centered on product knowledge that will result in increased sales, high levels of customer conversion, and retention of existing customers.

o Utilize financial tools, P&L statement, and reporting to identify and address trends and issues in store performance. Addresses areas of opportunity proactively & without hesitation.

o Maintain high standards of food safety to ensure food is maintained at proper time and temperature by regularly monitoring and documenting as required.

o Champion the implementation of new programs and processes by developing action plans, directly motivating & instructing the store team to implement them flawlessly.

o Forecast staffing needs, actively recruit talent, and utilize talent acquisition tools to interview and hire qualified candidates.

o Write schedules that both align with the company labor model and delivery on our customer service commitment. Continuously adjusts to meet the needs of the business.

o Ensure adherence to applicable wage and hour law, including compliance with meal and break period policies.

Qualifications

o Passion, knowledge, interest in health, fitness and/or wellness.

o Ability to build customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.

o Possess a relentless ability to achieve results.

o Ability to quickly adapt & embrace new procedures, processes, and shifts to priorities.

o Ability to utilize sound judgment when making decisions, adapt to and champion change, and mediate conflict.

o Proven success in achieving goals through customer-centric selling.

o Excellent team player with the ability to lead & work independently.

o Strong verbal & written communication skills with proficiency in English.

o Keen proficiency in sales principles, KPI deliverables, and customer service practices.

o Previous retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience preferred.

o Previous cash-handling and POS experience.

o Must have a valid Food Handler Card or applicable state-specific requirement at the time of hire.

o At least two years of progressive leadership experience managing a team of at least five members.

o Demonstrated success managing a profit and loss statement or comparable financial reporting.

o Proven ability to drive results, analyze financial reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business.

o Possess basic knowledge of MS Office: Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.

o Previous success identifying, developing, and retaining influential team members.

o High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in business/ retail/restaurant/hospitality management preferred.

o Ability to maintain confidential company information in the strictest of confidence.

o Must be available on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

o Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.

o Requires standing for long periods.

o Requires working in variable temperatures at different times per day and season. Availability Requirements

o SM is required to work no less than 5 days and 40 hours per week to support the needs of the business.

o This includes at least one opening, one closing, and one mid shift per week.

o SM is required to work 2 of their store’s 3 busiest days each week.

o SM is required to work a minimum of two weekends per month.

o SMs are required to work during holiday blackout periods. For example: Fall cleanse promo and other holiday blackout periods to be determined.

o SMs are required to conduct End of Period Inventory to ensure accuracy & completion. *Exceptions must be approved by the Marketing Manager. Management Coverage Expectations

o SM/SL key coverage is required during all day parts to drive sales and manage the Pressed Experience with the team.

o Exceptions: Bank deposits & meal/rest breaks .

o Sales Associates must be accompanied by a member of Management at all times.

o Exceptions: Bank deposits & meal/rest breaks are not to be scheduled alone at any point throughout the day.

Open & Close Task Time

o Juice stores: given 30 minutes before & after business hours to complete pre-open tasks.

o Freeze stores: given 1 hour before & after business hours to complete pre-open tasks. Miscellaneous

o All overtime accruals must be approved by the Market Manager.

o Members of management cannot go on vacation at the same time.
