Job Description

Being a great tech company, Forsta has an amazing Engineering team behind it. Our Engineering team turns ideas into products and makes our vision a reality! We are the true innovation masterminds of Forsta, the ones building our software so our company can continue delivering solutions that allow global businesses and market research agencies to be successful.
Want to be part of our team? Now is the time to apply, as we are currently looking for a QA Software Engineer to join our team in Oslo.

Your role will require and challenge you to:

  • Be part of a product team working on improving the Forsta platform
  • Work closely with developers and product owners
  • Be involved in and influence the entire development process from start to end
  • Facilitate and be a key contributor in our delivery pipeline
  • Compose and test acceptance criteria
  • Perform load, performance, api and security testing
  • Take part in the teams DevOps responsibilities
  • Participate in monitoring our production systems

Qualifications

  • A great interest in software testing and have experience in Agile testing
  • Programming/scripting experience and like to automate tasks
  • A good understanding of web technology
  • Experience using tools for GUI testing
  • A technical education (BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent) or relevant experience
  • Focus on details
  • You are responsible and show initiative
  • You work well both on your own and in a team

While we put mindset and being a team player at the top of the list, you get additional points if you are familiar with, or have good knowledge of, any of the following:

  • Scrum
  • TestCafe, Playwright, Postman, k6
  • Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Slack
  • Grafana, TeamCity
  • k8s, Docker
