**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading construction plans and estimating the total value of concrete construction required for various projects. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and competitive bids for our projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete materials and labor.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information for estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
- Analyze and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes to select the most cost-effective options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations to clients.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a Concrete Estimator in the construction industry.
