We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned and properly stored.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and wash laundry items according to color, fabric, and type
- Operate washing and drying machines, as well as other laundry equipment
- Fold and store clean laundry items in an organized manner
- Inspect laundry items for stains, tears, and other damage
- Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry room
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of laundry items
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
