Classification: Exempt
Pay Range: $29,000-43,000 (depending on experience)

About the Modern Language Department at Presentation High School
Modern Language classes at Presentation High School connect students to a greater global community. While learning the basic skills of listening, reading, writing, and speaking, students develop cultural literacy and an in-depth understanding of the regions where the language is spoken or used. Our curriculum is directly connected to Presentation's DEI statement. We teach students the products, practices, and perspectives of the cultures where the language is spoken while developing empathy, humility, courage, and societal awareness.
Position Summary
Presentation High School in San Jose, California is seeking a part-time French instructor to join the Modern Language Department in the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for an experienced, innovative teacher who is eager to develop classrooms of belonging where students are ready to take intellectual risks and put their learning into action in the “real” world.
