    PUSD is a successful and historic school district, and Prescott is a beautiful town in which to live and work. 4 moderate seasons, with excellent outdoor recreation opportunities and a thriving arts community.
    This position is for the 2022-23 school year (July 25 to May 26). Full year contract is 186 days, plus 5 days for teachers new to PUSD. Position will teach both boys' and girls' PE classes.
    Arizona Teacher Certification required
    All Full time PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary or hourly pay.
    • Medical Insurance paid by PUSD:Four plans to choose from that are paid fully by PUSD, valued at over $9,000 per year (also available is a buy-up medical insurance plan)
    • Life Insurance ($50,0000) with option to purchase additional for self and family
    • Arizona State Retirement System*; district matches employee contributions (appx 12%)
    • Generous sick leave plan
    • Opportunities for additional pay as an after-school club leader or athletics coach, and/or teaching Summer School (all optional)
    • Teachers can readily qualify for Proposition 301 funds. Expected annual amount $9,000 , in addition to base salary
    • Example annual compensation: Base salary $43,000 (depending on experience) Prop 301 bonus $9,000 stiped for sponsoring student FBLA club $1,500 = $53,500 benefits annually for 186 contract days
