Host/Cashier
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or address customer inquiries
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized host/cashier station
Skills:
- Food service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of guest relations principles to ensure a positive dining experience
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
