Prescient Technologies, a service-disabled, veteran owned small business, is seeking a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and self-motivated Spanish Interpreter to support a government contract. Our ideal candidates will have high attention to detail and an excellent work ethic. They will excel at working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while staying within the role of interpreter.

The interpreter will perform interpretation services ranging from simple to complex conversations from Spanish <> English and may be sensitive in nature.

The responsibilities of the Spanish Interpreter will include, but are not limited to:

• Strong listening, research, memory, and language skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• The ability to perform in a challenging, creative, and formal working environment.
• Must be able to work within a changing schedule as the need arises.
• Must have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with members from various backgrounds.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of three (3) years working as an interpreter or in a related field must be reflected in your resume.
• Must possess within six months of employment and maintain any required certifications, should the client require any certifications.
• Must be able to interpret/transliterate fluently and understand the continuum of language communication.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and written.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be a valid Green Card holder.
• Must be able to take, and pass, any required background screening(s).
