Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking a Software Engineer Front End Sr. to support a government client.

Description:

• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
• Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.
• May design embedded systems software.
• Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plan and lead major technology assignments.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• May supervise others.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.

Clearance:

• TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI/POLY

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• US Citizens with active TS/SCI.
• 5 years of experience as Software Engineer developing distributed software applications using modern and open-source technologies and frameworks.
• Highly fluent programmer in one or more languages such as Java, HTML, C#, Python, CSS, C , etc.
• Strong understanding and knowledge in API best practices – REST and/or gRPC.
• Has worked in a DevSecOps model and delivered code through CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

• US Citizens with active TS/SCI.
• 5 years of experience as Software Engineer developing distributed software applications using modern and open-source technologies and frameworks.
• Highly fluent programmer in one or more languages such as Java, HTML, C#, Python, CSS, C , etc.
• Strong understanding and knowledge in API best practices – REST and/or gRPC.
• Has worked in a DevSecOps model and delivered code through CI/CD pipelines.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
