Job Description

The requirements listed define the Senior Cyber Engineer (SCE) responsibilities and tasking.
The SCE is a experienced and highly qualified individual that is able to analyze detailed
system engineering designs, requirements and functionality for Minotaur Mission System
(MMS) hardware and software solutions. The SCE shall fully understand and be able to use
the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Assurance (IA) practices and Cyber
certification processes to plan, create, improve, maintain and test the core mission system
baselines. The SCE shall support the Minotaur Chief Integration Officer (CIO)/Program Lead
and other team members to accomplish the team goals. The SCE shall be able to mentor team
members and provide guidance to leadership on policies and procedures related to cyber
security, SDLC and IA.
The SCE shall be qualified to execute the below functions.
SCE1: Analyze detailed software and hardware architectures, designs and functional
requirements for aircraft, ground, surface, web and cloud based mission systems.
SCE2: Develop detailed system and software requirements.
SCE3: Build a cyber strategy, identify risk, document solutions & oversee contingency
responses.
SCE4: Develop a plan, draft documents and execute strategy to meet cyber regulatory
compliance for DOD and DHS systems.
SCE5: Develop software resolutions using cyber security tools, set STIG configurations and
apply patch cycle updates related to information assurance and cyber security controls.
SCE6: Integrate security into agile development practices.
SCE7: Plan, build and institute Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) strategic
planning into the mission system.
SCE8: Conduct code reviews and develop technical documentation.
SCE9: Work with team members to ensure system usability and reliability.
SCE10: Conduct frequent Travel to meet Government requirements (20%).
SCE11: Obtain and Maintain at least a Secret clearance (TS-objective).
SSD12: Mentor junior cyber and system administration (SYSADMIN) team members.
SSD13: Conduct reviews and Quality Assurance (QA) of software and hardware systems.
SSD14: Build visions, business relationships & goals for future endeavors.

Job Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Information Security or other suitable equivalent in certifications with
experience. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud
Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certifications.
Minimum 8 years experience in cyber security, information security or related positions or 4
years experience with a Masters Degree in Cyber Security or similar related field of study.
Proven performance of leadership, communication and team skills
