Job Description

Minotaur Operations Manager (MOM)
The requirements listed define the Minotaur Operations Manager (MOM) responsibilities and
tasking. The MOM is a highly qualified individual that understands projects, managing
resources, operations and is able manage the various aspects of operational planning. The
MOM works with the engineering, operational and cybersecurity team to understand the clients
business needs, develop visions, and execute Minotaur operations. The MOM shall directly
support the Chief Integration Officer (CIO)/Minotaur Program Manager (MPM) and work with
senior team members to accomplish tasking related to design, integration and deployment of
fleet supported mission systems and ground infrastructure. The MOM shall be a leader and
self starter that is able to deliver products to meet mission execution.

The Minotaur MOM shall be qualified to execute the below functions.

  • MOM1: Develop and analyze high level architectures, designs and functional requirements for ground infrastructure, aircraft & surface mission systems.
  • MOM2: Create solutions and map enterprise planning documents.
  • MOM3: Develop detailed specifications and requirements.
  • MOM4: Develop prototype designs for rapid deployment.
  • MOM5: Research technology and draft Analysis of Alternatives (AoA).
  • MOM6: Draft system design ideas, plans, and reports for enterprise solutions.
  • MOM7: Develop customer focused mission system maintenance, operational and life cycle plans for long term sustainment of the system.
  • MOM8: Work with team members and customers to ensure operational usability, functionality and reliability.
  • MOM9: Develop Training tools and conduct Training.
  • MOM10: Plan for travel, develop travel plans, approve travel, manage the travel budget and provide travel status and monthly reports.
  • MOM11: Plan operational details for operational testing, operational exercises and operational needs to include materials, daily planning, travel coordination and personnel movements.
  • MOM12: Develop planning, meetings, and projects as lead of Product Owners.
  • MOM13: Execute travel to meet Government requirements.
  • MOM14: Obtain and Maintain at least a Secret clearance.
  • MOM15: Be able to accept guidance and direction from the CIE/MPM and Senior Leadership.
  • MOM16: Conduct Government and internal reviews and take action on feedback from reviewers.
  • MOM17: Build visions, business relationships & goals for future endeavors.
Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology (IT), Electrical Engineering (EE), Aerospace Engineer (AE) or similar related technical study. Degree may be substituted for years of technical experience or Subject Matter Expertise (SME). For degree substitution, employee must have 12 years field experience in avionics, mission systems, electrical, IT or similar technical work.
  • Proven performance with projects with good communication and team skills.
  • 8 years experience with DOD/DHS operations, maintenance and mission execution.
