Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking an DevOps Engineer Mid to support a government client.

Description:

• Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• May also design network and computer security measures.
• May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
• Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plan and lead major technology assignments.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• May supervise others.

Clearance:

• TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI/POLY

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using and administering CM tools to manage, store, and track multiple configurations of a system.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network related issues.
• Experience managing Linux-based infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of computer networks, routing, and APIs.
• Experience building quality security gates in the CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS or similar certification preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
