Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking an AWS/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a Federal government client. As an AWS/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

• Build infrastructure to span the existing networks and the AWS Cloud ecosystem
• Build and deploy resilient cloud architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements
• Write programs to monitor key metrics
• Troubleshoot network administration and integration

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Demonstrable experience working with a large range of AWS cloud capabilities including networking, access management, automated deployments, and related concepts
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with various global cloud capabilities, use, and implementation of global networking with those cloud capabilities, including AWS
• Experience implementing CloudFormation templates for AWS infrastructure deployment
• Experience auditing AWS VPC server posture
• Experience supporting tech-ops plans using Cloud networking and other available tools and techniques
• Demonstrable experience working with a large range of AWS cloud capabilities including networking, access management, automated deployments, and related concepts 
• Experience managing network processing environment
• Proven ability to identify and understand risks Desired Skillset: Python, Perl, bash
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure and Google

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , ITIL v3 Foundation (ITIL), Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV), CompTIA Linux , Linux
• Scripting/Programming languages: Bash, Powershell,Javascript, Python, Ruby, HTML5, CSS3
• Technologies: EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Glacier, IAM, Git, Linux, Windows, ESXi, KVM
