Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of HealthONE/HCA of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.

The Rehab Aide, under the supervision of the manager, prepares patients for and assists therapists in treatment, and demonstrates a good working knowledge of treatment techniques. Maintains the PM Department in a clean and orderly fashion. Communicates appropriate patient information. Assures adequate stock of supplies and performs clerical duties. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required upon hire.
  • HS Diploma or GED Required
  • No experience required. However, prior experience in a hospital or patient care related field preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate with patients using auditory Input and Output.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
