Description

The Village at Summerville is looking for a FULL TIME COOK to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. This person will cook dishes that will delight our residents with taste and timely delivery.

Requirements

Responsibilities & Skills

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen. Monitor sanitation procedures for daily, weekly and monthly schedules
• Monitor all hot and cold temperature logs daily
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients

Preferred:

• One year cooking experience in hospitality setting or related environment
