A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ESTIMATION PLUMBER (COMMERCIAL)

You gather information about plumbing projects in an effort to provide expert estimates as an Estimation Plumber (Commercial). Besides estimating timelines and calculating the costs of materials and labor, you create and present project proposals. You generate submittals so that the correct products are installed on the project. You also prepare documentation change orders, RFIs, and more. Due to your experience gained as an apprentice or journeyman plumber, you excel in this position!

Utilizing your excellent communication skills allows you to work with a variety of professionals in the field. Your customer service skills also come in handy as you build a strong rapport with our customers. Our project management knows that they can depend on your people skills, eye for detail, and organizational talents to ensure that projects go off without a hitch. You are a hard worker who helps ensure the best outcome for our clients as well as continued profitability for our company!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a 4-year apprentice and/or journeyman plumber
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• Some experience using estimation programs such as FastPipe, BuildTrend software, and/or other construction-related software
