Premium Cabinets St. Louis is Hiring a Design Assistant Near Fenton, MO

Premium Cabinets is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and proactive person to join our team to assist our sales/design team with all aspects of the design process from start to finish. Create accurate estimates, 3D renderings, material selections, vision boards of cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing & lighting fixtures. This position requires a person of positive influence and productive action. The right candidate will work closely with our design team to help facilitate a 5-Star experience for our customers. They will assist and report directly to our design team led by our owner Candice Morgan. Your primary goal each and every day is to assist and help alleviate the workload shared by the sales/design team. They will work as a protégé, with opportunities for advancement and pay increases as skills are developed. Everyday we are happy, enthusiastic, and grateful for every opportunity. Responsibilities Include:

· The kitchen and bath design assistant’s role is to assist the designers with anything from design help to material selections to preparing paperwork for our internal processing. This role requires great attention to detail, great written and verbal communication skills. The perfect applicant would ideally have a passion for design and providing excellent customer service as there will be client interaction everyday.

· Ensuring each client receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging clients, answering and directing incoming phone calls, managing appointment calendar and incoming leads for our designers, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service

· Assisting with cabinet layout drawings utilizing our design software

· Assisting with creating customer estimates. Prepare internal company paperwork to submit for ordering

· Tracking and maintaining job opportunities through our CRM (Customer Relations Management) computer system.

· Following up on projects

· Collaborating internally with the different divisions and departments (i.e. accounting, purchasing, warehouse, etc.)

· Showroom/reception area kept clean and clutter free

Skills and Experience:

· Customer Communication and Service worthy of 5-star reviews

· Excellent computer skills

· Solid basic math skills

· Attention to detail

· Strong work ethic and ability to work with a fast paced team

· Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and follow through on projects to completion

· Strategic Thinker - ability to problem solve. Using your resources to solve your problems before asking for help.

· Learn and utilize our kitchen design software

· Familiarity of our industry, construction, and cabinetry is a plus but not required

· Proactively maintain team culture and a positive personal brand

Weekly work schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Saturdays - 8:30am to 3:00pm - You will be required to work most Saturdays based on the needs of the business. When you work a Saturday, you will be given a day off during the week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
