Job Description
We are seeking organized individual to take ownership of our Purchasing and Inventory processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct purchasing of products from individual parts to truckload quantities. Our fast paced sales environment requires someone that can handle changing priorities with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase products based on immediate sales needs
- Monitor inventory of finished products and make appropriate re-order point adjustments
- Run reports and make purchasing/ make decisions to replenish stocking items
- Complete drop ship orders from placement to invoicing
- Reconcile and enter purchase order related vendor invoices
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a purchasing agent or other related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with purchasing/ inventory software a plus
- Must be able to have fun and play nice with others
