Job Summary:

Security Guards play an important role in providing security and ensuring the safety of all members, guests, and employees within the property. They also add to the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the club. Customer service is a significant component of the job. Our team performs various security operations and monitors activities, while heavily relying on a welcoming and hospitable approach to all our visitors. Through thorough communication using radio, camera systems, various detailed logs, and patrols, the Security team maintains a safe environment for the club.

Responsibilities and duties:

Security guards work with and report to the Director of Security.

Responsibilities include:

· Monitoring cameras and other security systems;

· Maintaining detailed logs and performing various on foot/golf cart patrols;

· Responding to all incidents and communicating over radios and phones;

· Interacting with and helping all members and guests, providing excellent customer service;

· Maintaining a neat and professional appearance, with constant mental alertness and attention to detail;

· Following established security protocols while using initiative and good judgment;

Qualifications and skills:

· Must be at least 18 years old;

· Must have obtained a High School Diploma at the minimum or equivalent;

· Must possess a guard license per state requirements (can be acquired post hire);

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills along with good oral and written communication;

· Must be able to handle/lift various packages and climb ladders;

· Must be neat, dedicated, detail oriented and organized with the ability to remain flexible and adapt well while remaining calm in stressful situations.

Note: Preference will be given candidates who are available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
