The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager is an integral part of the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As the Unit Manager you are responsible for providing a full range of nursing care in an interdisciplinary environment including:

  • Responsible for the Nursing care nad services provided on the assigned unit
  • Supervises and directs nursing/ health care personnel on a particular unit
  • Assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for residents' care on assigned unit
  • Assessment
  • Care Planning
  • Implementing Care
  • Managing Patient Care
  • Quality Improvement
  • Problem Solving
  • Bedside Nursing
  • Medication Administration
  • Treatments

Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of approved Registered Nurse (RN) Program.
  • Previous experience as an RN in an acute care/long term care setting is desirable.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • One year of supervisory experience perferred
